Instapaper / Groups
Instapaper Groups was an in-app feature that was also unbundled into a stand-alone app. It enabled users to read and share with one another in the form of teams – centered around highlights and notes.
The work included aesthetically-similar branding, updated ux/ui to the parent brand and designing/building the stand-alone app along with a browser extension.
Instapaper is a bookmarking service that allows web content to be saved so it can be "read later" on a various devices. It was founded in 2008 by Marco Arment and to Betaworks in 2013. The Instapaper team at Betaworks included myself (designer), Brian Donohue (engineer/CEO) and Rodion Gusev (everything else).
